Make sure to check out this new video documenting the 2012 MINDS-i Robotics Competition that took place earlier this month. MINDS-i is a venture by our frind Mike Marzetta, and aims to bring robotics to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education.
The theme of the competition was inspired by real life events to help grab student’s attention and imagination. In this case, “Meltdown at the Reactor” has competitors completing several tasks based on a repair/rescue mission in a ‘damaged nuclear facility’.
The Trossen Team definitely loves any effort to inspire students to get into robotics and technology, so Mike’s efforts get a huge A++ from us.
