It makes me really happy to see that good old fashioned creature-building is not a dead art. As far as I'm concerned, CGI will never hold a candle to real animatronics. Of course in this case, the BBC produced a touring live theater show to go along with the TV series, so constructing animatronic creatures was necessary.
